There is a $10,000 Antwork Pop-Up Pitch startup competition taking place on the 9th of September at the Changemaker Festival.
The competition is put together to support early stage tech-oriented startups in Lebanon. The startups eligible to apply must have been operating for more than 3 months, have a validated MVP and received traction to their products and/or services. More detailed criteria are additionally found here.
In order for your startups to apply for the startup competition, they should register to the festival, and select “Startup Pitching Competition” in the drop down for the "Which competition would you like to participate in?” question. After that, the changemaker team will follow up with them accordingly so that they send in their pitch decks.
Kindly note that the new deadline for sending applications is September 3, 2018 at midnight.
As a recap, the festival will be held under the patronage of his Excellency PM Saad Hariri on September 8 & 9 at New Biel, Beirut, Lebanon and operates at the intersection of education, youth, entrepreneurship and impact. It aspires to bridge the gap between 3,000 youths and 50 top local and international decision-makers, create broad-based partnerships and inspire action to deliver lasting and sustainable social change.

As for the selection procedure, startups will be judged on the basis of importance of the problem tackled, the innovative approach towards the problem, their business model, marketing plan, financial projections and competitive edge in the market.
The competition has only one prize : $10,000 for the winner.
As for the startups that have applied, kindly make sure that they send in their informative pitch decks by September 3, 2018 midnight through the link that has been communicated to them by email.
