Note: This assignment is not required for acceptance into the sprint. Although, it will be helpful to hear about all your projects and to know if they’re a good fit for our program.

How? We’ll make it easy for you, simply follow this list of resources:

Use the Startup Scouts five slide deck:

Everyone will use this to pitch at the Serail. Open the deck, make a copy and edit away with your own information. If you have your own deck prepared, please edit it to fit these five slides: Problem, Solution, Business Model/Market, Team/Timeline.

Remember: Don’t add too much information as you will only have 2 mins!

Resource 3:

When you have your five slides ready and want to record your very first pitch, please use Loom, a plugin for chrome.

You don’t have to keep the same document, just do a new PowerPoint and with every slide, talk about what you are asked for.

1. Logo slogan
2. Problem
3. Solution
4. Business model
5. Current status + team.

I didn’t edit the PowerPoint they sent us, I did a new one.

It’s a template for you to copy and use If you want you can copy it directly into your own google slides or download it to open in PPT:

• Click file, then Download if you don’t use gmail or google apps.

• Otherwise click “Make a copy” and that will bring it into your Google Slides so you can edit it

i just spent over an hour trying to fill out the slides-pitch without success.
I couldn’t enter any details on the slides even after downloading them???

Easiest thing to do is to use it as a template and use it in a new deck. Its only a few words
