So sadly, Tripoli has been drowning in trash year after year. This natural beauty of seaside has been scarred by the sloppy mismanagement of waste.
The Tripoli landfill was supposed to be temporary and should not exceed the height of 12 meters, today it is 34 meters, and expects to close by 2020.
And the fact we payed 400 Ton/day * 130$ = 52000 $/day = 411 840 000 $/22 years to build this monument !
