EMDAD, a community-driven social entrepreneurship initiative in Lebanon under the PROSPECTS Programme, a global partnership supported by the Government of the Netherlands, is accepting applications until April 20, 2023.
EMDAD is implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO) in collaboration with makesense Lebanon, Cooperazione per lo Sviluppo (COSV), and Research and Professional Services for the MENA Region (RPS).
Who is EMDAD for?
Do you have a social enterprise in Lebanon? Are you part of a civil society organization (CSO) or informal organization that self-organized to create a positive impact in your community in the last years that can evolve to become a sustainable social initiative? Do you run an impactful and collaborative project promoting a social and solidarity economy? Do you intend to create and/or retain decent, inclusive jobs/economic opportunities? Are you eligible to apply?
Location: is the organization/initiative supporting communities in Lebanon including refugees?
Social aim: do you actively target a social and/or environmental challenge in your community/ies?
Sustainable entrepreneurship : do you have a viable and sustainable business model, or are you currently testing a viable and sustainable business model?
Contribution to decent job and livelihood opportunities: are you actively contributing to employment by providing and/or sustaining jobs in Lebanon?
