Fadi is a serial entrepreneur and interactive communication specialist with over 22 years of experience in the Internet industry and digital media. He established Born Interactive in 1996, driving it to become one of the leading regional New Media agencies, with core competencies in Web, Mobile and Social Media, and operating out of Beirut, Riyadh and Dubai. In 2009, he also co-founded Travel Systems with Lebanon’s leading travel operator: a company specialized in the design and development of full-fledged online reservation systems and solutions for the travel industry. In 2016, Fadi founded EasyCat Ltd., the first catalog sharing network, based in London, UK.
Fadi combines entrepreneurship, business, marketing, and management skills to Web design, development, planning, implementing digital and social media strategies, online advertising, e-commerce and marketing campaigns. He has extensive expertise in creative digital communication and web on platforms ranging from Web 1.0 to the latest Web 3.0, mobile apps and social influence marketing.
Fadi continuously interacts with different cultures and languages. He managed and consulted on projects for clients and target audiences from Asia, MENA, Arabian Gulf, Africa, Europe and the US. Projects include Arabic, English and French, which are languages that he speaks, reads and writes fluently.
Fadi is also a member of the World Entrepreneurship Forum, a mentor for young entrepreneurs within the Bader Young Entrepreneurs Program, and a juror for the MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Startup and Grow My Business competitions.
As a member of the World Entrepreneurship Forum, Fadi contributed in writing a full chapter about Social Media in the book titled “Planet Entrepreneur: The World Entrepreneurship Forum Guide to Business Success Around the World” published in October 2013 by the No 1 business publisher in the world, the American John Wiley and Sons.
He holds a Master in Management, with Marketing major from SKEMA Business School in France, a Diploma in advanced Design and Development of Interactive Multimedia Products from The Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA) in Association with the National Institute of Audiovisual Media (France) as well as a BS in Economics from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon.
