The “Rising Arab Changemakers Award” was launched for the first time in the Arab region in Beirut on October 28, 2022. The aim of this annual award is to raise awareness about the pivotal role that Arab youth can play in their communities and to shed light on the success stories of highly responsible and innovative young citizens.
The award aims to attract youth in the Arab world who have been able through their voluntary, innovative, impact-driven, and entrepreneurial initiatives in social and other development fields to contribute clearly towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).
This award will recognize rising changemakers in the region and inspire young people to act as positive change catalysts in their local community.
